There were 10 newly confirmed cases in Guangdong and 7 asymptomatic infections in Guangdong. At 0:24 on June 1, 10 newly confirmed cases in Guangdong Province and 7 cases in Guangzhou were reported; Foshan reported 3 cases of asymptomatic infection. Seven local asymptomatic infections were added, 5 in Guangzhou and 2 in Shenzhen.

There were 3 newly confirmed cases imported from abroad in Guangdong Province and 2 cases reported in Guangzhou, respectively from Cambodia and Liberia; Foshan reported a case from the Philippines. Two cases of asymptomatic infection were newly imported from abroad, and one case was reported in Shenzhen, from India; Jiangmen reported a case from the United Arab Emirates. Three new patients were discharged.

Novel coronavirus pneumonia was reported in 2481 cases (1038 cases imported abroad) as of June 1st at 24 hours in Guangdong. At present, 85 cases are in hospital.
